Behind the hotel you will find the famous volcano.

The Mediterranean-style building was recently renovated, maintaining the typical characteristics of the Eolian style.

At the Hotel Ossidiana breakfast is served in panoramic restaurant. Among the services offered, you will find the Bar Amore Mio, where you can take a drink, snacks or the typical Sicilian granita.
All our Guests can use (free of charge) a small swimming pool with thermal bath heated by the volcano (39° degrees hot), thermal showers and turkish bath, to relax body and mind.

We have spent 3 fantastic days at hotel Ossidiana on Stromboli Island.This hotel was the best I have ever stayed.Very clean,very helpful staff(they even helped us to get to the island,since on the day of our arrival the weather conditions were not appropriate for getting there by the hydrofoil service).The location of the hotel is excellent both for excursions to the volcano and enjoying the sea.We had a wonderful view of the sea from our window.For swimmers,the sea near the port(just in the vicinity of the hotel) is well suited for long distance swimming.Overall,we were very much satisfied.Thanks!

If we revisit Stromboli - quite likely ! we would definitely stay again at the Ossidiana. It is superbly located across the road from the beach and close to the ferry jetty and it is the most friendly of places. The staff are very helpful and though the facilities are limited there is nowhere else on the island we would have preferred to have stayed.
Two tips - try to get a room with a sea view our standard rom had no sea view and do try the hotel's ancient thermal spa (free to residents) complete with ancient local fisherman to provide practical and moral support.
Room 3 is very comfortable but has no sea view.
